Current Visa Appointment Wait Time

The current wait time for a non-immigrant visa appointment can be found on the Department of State website.

Applicants are able to schedule the next available appointment that is most convenient for them when scheduling an interview appointment via the U.S. Visa Service.  Please see How to Schedule an Appointment for more information.

It should be noted that the "Wait Times for Non-Immigrant Visa to be Processed" provided by the Department of State or information on the next available appointment by the U.S. Visa Service does not include time for additional administrative processing required for some applications, or for the time required to return the passport via DHL.  For this reason we always recommend that individuals apply for visas well in advance of their proposed date of travel.  No assurances regarding the issuance of visas can be given in advance.  Therefore, final travel plans or the purchase of non-refundable tickets should not be made until a visa has been issued and you have received your passport via DHL.
