Corrections to Issued Visas
Although we make every effort to correctly issue each visa, occasionally a visa is printed with incorrect information. Every successful applicant is encouraged to ensure that the information printed on their visa is correct as soon as they receive it from DHL. Corrections will only be made if the visa was issued within the last calendar year and the mistake was on the part of the Consular Section. Please note that corrected visas will only be valid until the original expiration date.
To arrange for your passport to be returned to the Consular Section, please contact the U.S. Visa Service.
For F, G, J, H, L, M, O, P, Q, and R, visas please include the original I-20, DS-2019, or I-797 as applicable to your visa category.
