Official/Diplomatic Visas

Applicants for visas A, C-3, and G (official/diplomatic visa applications) require a Foreign Ministry, Embassy or International Organization protocol note.  For information on how to apply, you may contact the Visa Unit from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 618-2000.

Applicants for A-3 and G-5 visas should make a regular appointment by obtaining a PIN and contacting the visa appointment and information service 705-3007.

Every applicant, without exception, must fill out the Electronic Visa Application Form and attach a photo 2 by 2 inches.

Official/Diplomatic Visas Applicants Interested in Bring Domestic Employees to the U.S.

The employer must provide a contract that includes the employer’s agreement to:

  • abide by all Federal, State, and local laws in the United States,
  • not to withhold the employee’s passport or any other personal property of the employee

The contract must also include information on:

  • the frequency and form of payment,
  • work duties,
  • weekly work hours,
  • holidays,
  • sick days,
  • vacation days
